10 November – Seal Rocks

We managed to get packed and get on the road by 1pm. The motorhome is surprisingly nippy and handled the freeway with ease, not fazed at the 110kph speeds. There are a few challenging hills but these little diesel engines are fantastic. Lots of pull.

We had a quick stop at Bulahdelah, somewhat beyond its prime due to the bypass.

Continuing on to Seal Rocks via The Lakes Way (rattled everything inside the motorhome) we turned the final corner to this view.

Approaching Seal Rocks

The camp ground is well organised with clear COVID signage and plan. The camp ground is sold out of non-powered sites and cabins. There are a few powered sites available. Makes me glad I booked all our sites in advance.

We set up the site for the first time. Quite the adventure finding where everything is hidden and where it goes. After the set up a walk to the beach reminded us how beautiful Seal Rocks is.

Late evening light

Of course at cocktail hour we had to participate. Never leave home without the ingredients.
