24 November – Last day ?

Up early this morning as we need to drop the motorhome back in Caringbah by 3:30pm today. Everything needs to be packed up. Water tank filled, grey water tank emptied, black water tank emptied and cleaned and the whole motorhome cleaned top to bottom inside before being returned.

First thing was our final swim of the trip. The scenery on this part of the coast is amazing;

Bennetts Beach again

We got away about 9am and pointed south. I’m really impressed how driveable these Fiat Ducato 2.3L turbo diesel powered vehicles are. If you want you can easily sit on the speed limit for hours.

The return was uneventful, just how I like it. We quickly unpacked, finished cleaning and hit the road for Caringbah. We dropped the motorhome and Robin drove us back to Freshwater.

Back to work tomorrow and the celebration of Robin’s birthday.

It’s been a great learning experience for the both of us. We already plan to hire a few different types of motorhomes over the next few months.

Signing off for now. I’m looking forward to looking back on this diary. We’ve had a fabulous time.
